A newsletter is published regularly. This is an excellent way of making contact among members from one annual meeting to another, and it is a means of keeping members informed of new developments affecting agricultural businesses in the State of New Jersey.

Recognition Awards

Awards in the following categories are presented each year at the NJAA Annual Meeting to recognize outstanding individuals, businesses or organizations affliated with the agricultural industry in New Jersey.

The Stephen A. Johnston Person of the Year Award
This award is given to recognize an individual who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to serve the agricultural industry in New Jersey. The name of this award was also chosen to remember and honor DR. Johnston and for others to strive to follow his example.

The Business of the Year Award
This award annually recognizes an agricultural business, agency, association, or organization that stands out in the area of service to the agricultural industry in New Jersey.

The Heritage Award
This honors an individual who has spent many years of their career and livelihood serving the agricultural industry in New Jersey.

Nominations for all awards are taken by the NJAA Awards Committee and the nominees are voted on by the NJAA Directors.
